With inspiration drawn heavily from the California coast, each piece of J. Dubois' recent collection is a homage to the magic of its landscape. Embracing and honoring the natural, each piece is unique to itself, much like the rocks and landscapes of the western coastline. The Yucca Pot evokes snowy days in the high desert. This extra large pot is one of a kind and is meant to be displayed and appreciated.
Approximately 11" tall x 12" diameter
Jessie DuBois’ work explores the ephemeral nature of a landscape. Through texture, layers of slip, embracing kiln atmosphere, and the use of locally foraged wild clays, plant material, and wildfire ash, it is intended to honor and preserve a terrain which is ever shifting.
