this one of a kind piece is a vertical assembly of handmade horizontal shells, pressed from balls of clay. each piece has the impressions of hand work, and lends to the organic feeling of a natural shell. the interior of each was hand panted in glossy white glaze. intended for indoor use only, but could be hung against the wall on a covered porch.
made from dune stoneware clay with a rough sandy finish. hand knotted waxed linen cord.
