a wheel thrown heavy bowl in dune stoneware, covered in a warm speckled white glaze. The inside of the bowl is grooved, making it ideal to grind spices, or make sauces like pesto, chimichurri, salad dressings, etc. Pestal included is also made from stoneware clay.
This piece should be seasoned prior to use. Drizzle 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil in the bowl, and move the pestle around the inside covering all areas with some pressure. Wash well with soap and water. Both pieces will then be ready for use.
dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended for longevity.
