The Maufrais Tableware Collection is inspired by the southern sun, desert sand, and breezy evenings. Everyday pieces feel like art. August Sage's bowls are crafted with stoneware and the exterior is left in its raw form. Incredibly versatile and ready for any setting these stoneware pieces are fired at exceptionally high heat, making them robust. This ensures that they will last for years despite scraping, dishwashing, and many family gatherings. They’re oven and microwave safe as well!

Each piece by August Sage is hand-thrown which results in slight variations. It takes approximately a week from start to finish by seven artisans in their Tonalá, pueblo workshop with traditional Guadalajara techniques. The area is known as the heart of Mexican ceramic heritage.
