A set of four charcoal heavy weight washed linen napkins. These napkins are made with 100% linen and are plant dyed. Each piece has natural variations and light mottling effects that add texture and an organic feel. Stitched edges protect the raw fringe.

Plant dyes create deep and complex shades that seem to subtly change with the light. Although the same recipe is used for each batch, no two pieces will be identical in color. Each step in the process of crafting these napkins is done intentionally by hand the Rosemarine Detroit Studio. The result is an organic color and lightly textured piece that adds romantic and delicate beauty to any table setting.

Each napkin is about 17" x 17" wide when pressed flat.

Care: Linen is naturally wrinkly, so no need to press as that is part of the beauty of the fabric. Napkins can be hand washed using a pH neutral soap in tepid water. They are machine washable, but due to the raw edges they may fray in the wash. If this happens simply cut the loose threads. We recommend using Dr. Bronner's castile soap and hanging to dry.

Rosemarine Textiles utilizes sustainability conscious practices to limit water wastage and recycle greywater for plant watering. They work with restaurants to collect food waste to create beautiful dyes from onion skins and avocado pits, as well as with florists to utilize leftover flowers from events. All plant material is composted after dyeing. Rosemarine Textiles is committed to sustainable and ethical sourcing of all fabrics, dye materials and packaging.
