Hand-crafted and hand-cut in New York, all batches of soap begin with dark green Italian food-grade olive oil to which herbs, butters, natural extracts and essential oils are added. This beautiful creation is then hand-wrapped in decorative paper. Saipua is made with all-natural ingredients and fragrances and is safe for those with sensitive skin.
Contains saponified oils of olive, coconut, and castor, with shea butter, oatmeal, and essential oils. 6oz.
Choose from the following scents:
Cedarwood: permeates with the grounding aroma of warm and woody cedar wood
Black Soap with Patchouli: Activated charcoal draws out oils from the skin, making this an excellent complexion soap. Scented with an earthy blend of patchouli and lime essential oil.
Saltwater: An essential oil blend creates a scent reminiscent of the ocean. Made with salt and nori. Contrary to popular belief this is not an exfoliating soap; though the salt conditions the water as you shower and creates a creamy and unique lather.
Lavender Oatmeal: a classic combination of lavender essential oil and ground oats, this mild exfoliating soap is terrific for face or body
Rose Geranium: An intoxicating and uplifting floral essential oil blend focusing on rose geranium.
Coriander Citrus: A bright duo of coriander and citrus essential oils, awakening and uplifting.
Vetiver: French green clay works to draw out impurities and tighten pores. A vetiver scent with a touch of citrus
Goat Milk with Basil: A creamy, soothing soap suitable for face or body blended with basil essential oil; peppery and sweet with notes of anise.
In 1997, the founder of Saipua, Susan Ryhanen, started crafting soap in her Brooklyn apartment. Not ordinary soap but hand-made, hand-cut soap made from 40-60% of cold-processed olive oil scented with pure essential oils. In a nod to her heritage, she named the products Saipua, Finnish for “soap”, and a highly moisturizing empire was born.
