The snake & the moon have long been linked because both symbolize rebirth and renewal; the shedding of the skin by the snake and the waxing and waning of the moon. This modern, organic ring was first created by hand in wax, laser engraved and then cast in recycled 18k gold plated brass.
Dea Dia was founded by self-taught artist Jessica Lawson in 2011. Process and experimentation have been the drivers of her organic jewelry designs and have found her a cult following over the last decade. All of her jewelry is handcrafted in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree and made from sculptural wax carvings, recycled metals and unique gemstones. It is Jessica's belief that not only should jewelry spark empowerment and self-love but through the powerful act of adornment, you can create space for self-expression, inspiration, and healing.
